چکیده
espite advances in interventional devices and techniques, ifurcation lesions continue to present a formidable chalenge for the interventional cardiologist. Bifurcation lesions re frequently encountered and are associated with increased rocedural time, risk, restenosis, and thrombosis (1–3). urthermore, as the interventional community begins to ocus on left main revascularization, the importance of reating bifurcation lesions will grow.

Background: Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) for bifurcated lesions is associated with a low rate of success and high rate of complications compared to such treatment of lesions of most other morphologies. Symptoms occurring at the time of procedure caused by PCI may require additional angiography with or without stenting through stent struts, which subsequently increases risks of reste...

متن کاملComparison of in-Hospital Outcome after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Between Patients with Anterior Myocardial Infarction and Those With or Without Ramus Intermedius
Introduction: Primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI) is used for the treatment of ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). Anterior STEMI is associated with adverse outcomes, and it is possible that the presence of ramus intermedius (RI) would inversely affect the outcome. This research involved the evaluation of the influence of RI presence on clinical ou...
